At Tewkesbury Riding School we offer a range of services, from Lessons to Arena Hire. For information on our Arena hire and Competitions, please see the relevant pages. The Riding School is open for clients on Wednesday Evenings and Saturdays. We also hold Pony Club events and Parties.

Lessons.
We cater from any ability from age 3 upwards, we offer 4 different types of lessons for both adults and children. These include:

Group Lessons
Held on both Saturday and Wednesday evening, these lessons are for novice to experienced riders. With various groups catering for those learning to canter to the more advanced rider. These lessons last ½ hour or an hour.

Private Lessons.
These lessons cater for any ability and can specialise in flatwork or jumping, they can last either ½ hour or an hour

Day Children.
At Tewkesbury Riding school we offer the opportunity for children to stay from 9.00 to 4.00 on a Saturday to gain valuable learning experience on a running yard. They will be supervised by a member of the team and assist in yard duties such as tacking up, grooming and stable management. Children also have 2 x ½ hour lessons, one specialising in flatwork and the other in jumping.

½ Hour Hack.
For an experienced rider who just wants a relaxing ride, with miles of on road and off road hacking we can offer fun hacks for our customers. (All riders who go on a hack must undergo an evaluation of their riding first.) Minimum of 2 people.

1 Hour Hack.
A longer ride, this can be catered to be fast paced or steady. (All riders who go on a hack must undergo an evaluation of their riding first).

Children’s Parties.
We also offer Children’s parties for any ability of rider, these include a series of Gymkhana games followed by use of the Summer House for games and food. For more information please contact us.

Affiliated Pony Club Centre

Pony Club meets take place once a month. (In term time half a day on Sundays and in holidays all day on a Thursday) We also run a Summer Camp (Monday to Friday)

Pony Days

Held every Thursday of school holidays 9am to 3-30pm (include different riding activities and horse mastership)
