Manager and BHSPTT Instructor
Jo Bowen Jo has level 1, 2 and 3 with the British Horse Racing Education (BHE), UK CC.1 and B.H.S P.T.T in instructing. Jo is the yards manager and co-owner, with past experience in Management and Trainers 1 and 2 with a lifetimes worth of knowledge with horses, Jo ensures the yard and its residents are cared for to the very best and teaches Horsemastership on Pony Club meets. Jo also has experience in judging show classes so is always on hand for top tips and sneaky pointers on show days!
Freelance BHSAI Instructor
Sarah Keightley BHS 1,2 & 3, BHSAI – Sarah is the yards instructor with over 20 years teaching experience, and over 30 years experience with horses, meaning Sarah is one of the very best instructors around. She works part time at a nursery so is always brilliant with young children and will still have a good laugh with adult pupils! Sarah herself competed to BE Novice Eventing when she was younger and also has experience producing top young horses
Relief Freelance BHSPTT Instructor
Leanne Hayling is our relief freelance instructor and has been teaching with us for 2 years. She has BHE level 3 in horse care and management. She is a qualified BHSPTT instructor and has UK CC2 in teaching, and also a credited pony club coach. She has been teaching since 2012. Leanne has been riding for 20 years and competes in eventing up to 90cm on her 14.2 cob called Sox.
Yard and Lesson Assistant
Jodie Vincent has been with the riding school for 6 years. She has been one of our longest pony club members and has been awarded numerous certificates and pony club care badges. She is a yard and lesson assistant. She loves jumping Mischief and her dream goal would be to a professional show jumper.
