Here at Tewkesbury Riding School, we pride ourselves on giving children opportunities they might not get from other riding schools. So therefore we hold all our competitions with just one thing in mind. Fun! We aim to make all our competitions available to everyone, with their enjoyment being top priority.

Showing.
We hold an Showing show for members of the riding school at Christmas, Easter and during the Summer holidays. They have to clean and groom their horse before they enter the show ring for their class! With everyone wearing their smartest show kit it really is just like the real thing!

Show Jumping.                                                                                                                                                                                                                         We hold clear round jumping in the summer holidays and we also have a mini XC Course for our day people so they gain experience in open space. Occasionally we run a jumping league.

Mounted Games.
During the pony days, members of any age get to take part in our mounted games, from the walk race to over the bridge it really is fun for everyone! Run in heats of 6, everyone will get a rosette!
